Love coffee, hospitality, and working fun events? We’re looking for a reliable, friendly, and customer-focused Event Barista to join our mobile coffee catering team!

We cater corporate events, weddings, and other special events throughout the Central Texas area. This is contract, event-based work with a flexible schedule and a variety of event times.

COMPENSATION

• $120 minimum guaranteed per mobile espresso bar event — our minimum mobile espresso bar event includes 1 hour of setup time, 2 hours of serving time, and 1 hour of tear down time

• Events with longer serving times will have a higher payout

• 100% of tips if you are the only barista working the event

• If working alongside another barista, tips are split between the baristas

• Additional event details and compensation are communicated before the event is confirmed

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive to and from events in a company vehicle

• Coordinate company vehicle pickup and drop-off

• Set up and tear down our mobile coffee cart and equipment

• Make espresso-based drinks, matcha, and hot tea onsite

• Provide quick, efficient, and friendly service to event guests

• Keep the coffee bar clean and organized throughout the event

• Communicate with our team regarding event details, schedules, vehicle coordination, and client needs

• Represent our company professionally at every event

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You don’t need to have all of these! Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:

• Coffee shop or barista experience

• Restaurant or serving experience

• Strong customer service skills

Great communication and reliability are a must. Our baristas are the face of our company at events, so we need someone who is professional, responsive, dependable, and comfortable communicating with both our team and our clients.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Flexible availability

• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Food Manager Certification — can be obtained after hiring and reimbursed by the company

• Reliable transportation to and from our designated company vehicle pickup/drop-off location

• Ability to communicate clearly and respond promptly to event-related messages

SCHEDULE & EVENT INFO

This is contract/event-based work, so the number and timing of events will vary. Events can be booked anywhere from a few days to a couple of months in advance. Before an event is confirmed, we’ll communicate the event details, timing, location, expected serving time, and barista assignment. Our typical events include:

• Corporate Events: Often weekday mornings 

• Weddings & Private Events: Often weekend evenings
